Over Eighteen Days of Interactive Experiences,
including Featured Artist Angie Crabtree
The growing collective of (now over 50!) gem shows return to Southern Arizona in 2026 for the 71st year, bringing collectors, professionals, and families from around the world. The Tucson Gem Show on 22nd Street—an Eon Expos event and produced by Hart Events USA—will run January 29 through February 15, 2026, and remains one of the largest public-facing gem shows in Tucson.
Celebrating its 17th year as a flagship at the epicenter of this annual festival of stones—the Tucson Gem Show on 22nd Street spans nearly 130,000 square feet and offers an immersive experience for everyone from serious mineral collectors and shop owners to first-time attendees and families. Hundreds of vendors will be on site with museum-quality minerals, prehistoric fossils, meteorites, crystals, beads, jewelry, and precious gemstones available for purchase. Attendees can also meet miners, gemologists, paleontologists, and artists, many of whom offer evaluations and custom work.
“This show really stands out because of its range,” said Russell Carhart, Managing General Partner of the event. “You’ll see kids discovering fossils for the first time right alongside seasoned collectors looking for rare pieces. That mix is what makes it special.”
The Tucson Gem Show on 22nd Street is not open just to the trade—it’s free and open to the public—running daily from 10am till 6pm. There is ample on site parking for just $10. Lot entrance/access is located at 993 S. Freeway, Tucson, AZ 85745. Our tens of thousands of attendees enjoy free Wi-Fi and many dining options at our large food court.

Highlights of the 2026 Tucson Gem Show on 22nd Street
Angie Crabtree: Live Art, Exhibition, and Panel Discussion
The 2026 show will feature acclaimed contemporary artist Angie Crabtree, whose work explores luxury, power, and the cultural narratives embedded in gemstones. Known for her monumental Gemstone paintings, Crabtree examines how natural materials are transformed into symbols of status, desire, and control.
Crabtree will present her newest body of work, Garden of Eve, which draws on biblical metaphor to critique gender roles and the historical systems of wealth, colonization, and exploitation tied to luxury culture. Reframing Eve not as a figure of shame but as one of curiosity and resistance, the series asks viewers to reconsider the true cost of desire. Throughout the show, Crabtree will host live painting sessions, and on Sunday, February 1, from noon till 2pm, she will lead a keynote panel discussion. Panelists include Violetta Wolf, Museum Director of the Alfie Norville Gem & Mineral Museum, and Justin K. Prim, renowned lapidarist and publisher, with additional guests to be announced. Visitors can also take photos with Crabtree’s large-scale diamond painting at a pop-up photo booth located within her exhibit.

A special Kids Zone event will take place on Saturday, January 31, from noon to 2pm, featuring face painting, balloon art, and family-friendly entertainment. The first 100 children to participate will receive a complimentary hot dog lunch.
